ABOUT US
Our Company Smart Electrics is a well known family run business which has been established for over 35 years.
We were overwhelmed last year to be awarded by the Electrical Govern Body SELECT, Best Small Contractor 2016. This award has given us recognition for our hard work and dedication throughout the last few years which has been fuelled by the continuing support of our family and employees.
In March this year we moved into our new Office/Storage premises which is based in our home town of Burntisland. This move is another step to expanding Smart Electrics in the future.
Amazingly, ALL of our apprentices have won Apprentice of The Years (SECTT)! For a small company this is quite the achievement and shows the extremely high level of service and quality of work we provide.
All our apprentices are currently enrolled through SECTT (Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust) to complete the apprentiship over 4 years which involves both college and on site attendance. The programme is reviewed regulary with the trainee by Smart Electrics and The Training Officer. The Training Officer provides detailed progress reports which highlight any difficulties that require additional support/learning. We aim to provide our apprentices with as much in-house knowledge and training as possible to give them the best chance to suceed in their future as an Electrician.
